6/26/20- Michael Elgin will not be appearing on any Impact programming in the future. This is in the wake of the sexual allegations. Elgin has been removed from the website roster.
6/25/20- Tessa Blanchard has been stripped of the Impact World Championship. Furthermore, Impact Wrestling has terminated its relationship with her. No word on Daga, who is in a relationship with Tessa but also signed a multi-year contract last year. 6/22/20- Impact Wrestling has terminated the contracts of both Joey Ryan and David Crist following recent allegations. 6/18/20- AXS TV and WOW: Women of Wrestling have ended their relationship. WOW aired on AXS TV prior to Anthem purchasing the network. The network will be focusing their full attention on Impact Wrestling. Interestingly enough, a Knockouts show was rumored late last year. In other AXS TV news, Frank Tanki has been named the new General Manager of the network as well as HDNet Movies. Tanki was previously a General Manager of TV Land and CMT and served in marketing roles for Nickelodeon and Spike TV. 6/15/20- According to PWInsider, Impact Wrestling has renewed its broadcast deal with MVStv, their partner in Mexico. 6/11/20- Slammiversary is available for Pre-Order on Fite.TV now. The advertisement confirms that the PPV will be taking place in Nashville, TN. 6/9/20- The Slammiversary main event has been announced. World Champion, Tessa Blanchard will defend the championship in a 5-Way Elimination Match against Michael Elgin, Trey, Ace Austin and Eddie Edwards. 6/8/20- Anthem announced an agreement with Glewed TV to bring its VOD content on AXS TV, Fight TV and Impact Wrestling to the platform. The agreement will begin this upcoming Fall. You can read the presser here. In 2016, The Hardy Brothers worked in collaboration with Jeremy Borash and the TNA Production team to develop a match called "Final Deletion." This match took place at the Hardy compound and combined interesting visuals, background music, drama, unique camera angles and lighting. Final Deletion was a hit with the Impact audience at the time and would kickstart the modern era of a new style of match.
